On December 30, 2006, after a previous day of snowfall,
I made the leisurely drive along Cottonwood Pass Road up to the
closing gate where snowmobilers were busy and active. Along the way,
I pulled over near the junction of Chaffee County Roads
306 and 344 to take the above photo of Mt. Yale.
