I was standing on the summit of Mt. Belford yesterday, a Colorado "14er" to the north of Mt. Yale,
when I snapped this photo. Wow ... there are a lot of mountains out there,
but the two most noticeable are Mt. Princeton (far left) and
Mt. Yale just to right of Mt. Princeton and closer to the foreground.
The hike to Mt. Belford
via the Missouri Gulch Trail was a pretty one.
Starting practically across the dirt road from
Vicksburg, the trail heads
steeply through forest before reaching a beautiful meadow near timberline.
